THE EDTECH PODCAST: ON HR TECH
UNIVERSITY OF BRISTOL DRIVING EDUCATION THROUGH INNOVATION
Competition
This year’s record-breaking submissions cycle – over 800 applications commenced so far – is reaching its conclusion, with eleven days remaining to submit your innovative pedagogy for the chance to win $100,000.
We are currently in the process of transferring projects to our judging panel as they are submitted, and are keen to ensure that all judges have their full group of submissions as soon after the deadline as possible. If you are experiencing exceptional extenuating circumstances that you believe qualify you for an extension, please email [email protected] outlining (a) the reasons for your extension request and (b) the amount of extra time you believe is necessary.
Applicants may be keen to discover the educational specialists selected to evaluate their pedagogy or product this year. They can now find out by visiting http://www.reimagine-education.com/reimagine-education-judges-2017/, where this year’s comprehensive list of judges is visible to all.
We are delighted to announce a new competition sponsor this week. Cyprus’s University of Nicosia, whose faculty are responsible for a number of innovative programs, including the first-ever course and degree programme on cryptocurrency/blockchain technology, is 2017’s Gold Sponsor. Meet them here.
Conference
Our Early Bird deadline has now passed, but those seeking to partake in education’s leading conversations can still take advantage of a number of offers, including those reserved for delegates seeking to bring a colleague, or universities wishing to attend as a group.
With Amazon, Google, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, New York Times bestselling author William Deresiewicz, UCL, and Columbia University all represented, we are confident that the 2017 Reimagine Education conference agenda will prove invaluable for anyone invested in the future of education.
We are also delighted to announce another conference sponsor, too: the UK’s Newcastle University will serve as the Reimagine Education Bronze Sponsor.
