Welcome to the second issue of the official Reimagine Education Newsetter. This instalment directly follows our third annual conference, held in Philadelphia between the 5th and 7th December. The conference saw record attendance, with over 400 registered delegates participating, and over 150 innovators from across the world presenting their work to our global audience. We’ll also introduce this year’s overall winners – the London School of Economics’ ‘Students as Producers’ project, and Labster’s Virtual Laboratories. A full Honours List can be found here, along with testimonials from a range of conference delegates.

It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to organise Reimagine Education once again, and highly encouraging to watch it grow once more. We’re particularly pleased to see that a number of attendees – again, see our testimonial section – have, in their feedback, emphasised the value and uniqueness of a working space that unites those from both the technological and educational spheres. This is, after all, at the heart of Reimagine Education’s vision.

We know that our Reimaginers won’t stop here, however – and nor will we. We’ll continue to work to put together an environment in which change-makers and consensus-breakers from across the worlds of education, policy, and technology can collaborate. If you want to be a part of it, please register your interest for 2017’s conference – we’ll be delighted to keep you up-to-date on how the fourth Reimagine Education Conference is progressing.
