OVERVIEW
Do you want to improve learning outcomes and successful impact from your product or program at your institution or company by creating innovative and sustainable products, services, or experiences?
Then join UPenn and industry veterans in this half-day workshop to learn about the skills and dispositions of successful entrepreneurship, whether applied to building a product, company, initiative, or program in either K-12 or Higher Ed.
Using research on the culture and practice of innovation and rooting our conversations in “journey” stories from seasoned entrepreneurs, educators, and investors, this workshop will give you the tools and perspective to seed entrepreneurial practice and create impactful innovations.
The workshop is offered in two strands:
ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Explore how to create an entrepreneurship profile of your institution, establish success metrics, and build a culture of innovation.
Learn about successful incubators, competitions, labs, degree programs, and other innovations in higher education.
EDUCATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN K12
Investigate ways to build education ventures, school partnership models, support edu-preneurs, and work with new ideas and innovations across the K-12 ecosystem.
